A Tap In With Tapper

This documentary tells the story of Jack Bogen, a longtime golf coach whose impact extends far beyond the course, shaping generations of players both as athletes and as people. Through the voices of family members, former players, and colleagues, the film highlights his passion for the game, his leadership in building and revitalizing the program, and his unique ability to balance being both a coach and a grandfather. It explores the life lessons he instills, from discipline and hard work to integrity and personal growth, showing how those values carry into adulthood, careers, and relationships. Blending race-day action with behind-the-scenes insight, the film reveals the intense physical and mental demands of the sport, from hours of preparation in the garage to split-second decisions on the track. It highlights the risks, sacrifices, and relentless dedication required to compete, while also showcasing the role of friendship, teamwork, and innovation, including the use of simulators and the creation of their own racing brand. At its core, the documentary captures the adrenaline, ambition, and drive that push these athletes to chase success in one of the most demanding and dangerous sports.

Donella's Craft Co.
Produced and Directed by Alina Alvarez, Aubrey Dahm, and Isabel Brewer

This documentary follows Ella Davis, a student entrepreneur and founder of Donella Craft Co., as she builds and grows her handmade Etsy business in Lafayette. Starting with earrings and expanding into stickers, cards, and resin creations, Ella shares the challenges of standing out in a competitive online marketplace while balancing school, sports, and a job. The film highlights her creative process, from designing products using digital tools to crafting items by hand, as well as the personal growth she’s experienced through running her business. At its core, the documentary showcases how passion, persistence, and creativity can turn a hobby into a meaningful venture that shapes future career goals and builds real-world skills.

The Legacy of Tim Bordenet
Produced and Directed by Alex Schummer and Mikey Stapleton

A retrospective on the Hall of Fame coaching legacy of Central Catholic baseball coach Tim Bordenet. This documentary explores the culture and success of a championship-level high school baseball program, focusing on the leadership and philosophy of its coaching staff. Through interviews with coaches and players, the film highlights how raising expectations, emphasizing discipline, and committing to daily hard work transformed the program into a competitive powerhouse. It showcases the importance of accountability, teamwork, and maintaining a “winning mentality” while avoiding complacency after success. Beyond wins and titles, the documentary emphasizes the program’s deeper mission of developing young men of character, instilling values that extend far beyond the field and into life after high school.

A Calling to the Priesthood
Produced and Directed by Anthony Korchnak, Ben Zamora, and Aaron Bentinganan

This documentary shares the personal journey of CC Chaplain Father William Summerlin, tracing his path from a faith-filled childhood to answering a powerful and unexpected call to the priesthood. After first experiencing his calling at a young age, he struggled with fear, doubt, and resistance, wrestling with how it would change the life he had planned. Through guidance, reflection, and pivotal moments of clarity, he ultimately embraced his vocation, discovering peace and purpose in serving God. The film highlights the challenges of discernment, the importance of faith and mentorship, and the fulfillment found in living out one’s calling, offering an honest look at what it means to dedicate one’s life to something greater.

A Story of Conversion - Mr. Folk
Produced and Directed by Calvin Reisman

This documentary tells the personal journey of Mr. Folk, tracing his path from a skeptical, atheist worldview to becoming a Catholic theology teacher. Raised in a loosely religious household, he gradually rejected faith through his study of science and philosophy, embracing materialism and later exploring Buddhism before ultimately returning to atheism. His perspective began to shift through deeper study of moral philosophy and exposure to Christian thinkers at Purdue University, where he encountered intellectual defenses of faith that challenged his assumptions. A pivotal moment came during an intense personal experience that led him to believe in God, prompting a search for truth that ultimately drew him to the Catholic Church. The film highlights how reason, personal experience, and community shaped his conversion, culminating in a life dedicated to teaching, faith, and finding purpose through serving others.

This documentary highlights the story of Lewis Motor Sales, a family-owned business built from the ground up in 1987 through hard work, risk-taking, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Founded by David and Maryanne Lewis, the dealership grew from a small gravel lot with just a few employees into a thriving operation with millions in inventory and a strong reputation in the community. Through interviews with family members, the film explores how each person plays a role in the business, the challenges they’ve faced such as inventory shortages and industry changes, and how technology has reshaped car sales. At its core, the documentary emphasizes the importance of family, community involvement, and treating customers with care, showing how these values have driven decades of success and built lasting relationships across generations.
